Biografia
Christian A. Sidor to amerykański paleontolog specjalizujący się w permskich i triasowych tetrapodach (m.in. Silesauridae). Bada ich ewolucję, ekologię i biologię, podróżując po całym świecie w poszukiwaniu ich skamieniałości. Swoje wyprawy naukowe kierował przede wszystkim do Afryki północnej i południowej, a także do południowo-wschodniej Azji, a nawet na Antarktydę. W drugiej połowie lat 90. był jednym z członków ekipy badawczej Paula Sereno.
Na co dzień związany jest z Uniwersytetem Waszyngtońskim, gdzie jest kusztoszem działu kręgowców w Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture.
